OWN YOUR MORNING AND ELEVATE YOUR LIFE

Image
The warmth of the soft velvet duvet and the cool harmattan breeze kept Sarah glued to her bed, it was a typical Monday morning in the quiet city of Jos. The time was 4.50am. The sudden jolt at the main door and noises on her window was quite deafening. “What is going on; who needs my attention at this hour of the day. Don’t they have work to do?” these were the many questions in her mind that morning. The knock on the door was louder, the noise from the windows with young men and women calling her name “SARAH !!! WHY DOES A TYPICAL LOTTERY WINNER END UP BROKE WITHIN 3 YEARS AFTER EARNING HIS OR HER MILLIONS? Wealth in financial terms is a CONCEPT that has to be grasped. They lost such money because they did not understand the concept of wealth. True to many of the responses I received Wealth is not the same thing as money. Wealth is not measured by this size of income, financial wealth is measured in TIME. If I stop working today and all I have to my name in savings is N100,000 and my living expenses is at N1,000 a day then my financial wealth is equals 100 days. Wealth is measured by the richness of your life experience today plus the number of days into the future that you have the capacity to continue living at that level of experience. As you work today, develop a wealth building mind set. Don’t eat your tomorrow today. Create a vehicle that can sustain you in days to come. Loads of Learning on Finance 101 I hope you got a thing or two from my status today.

The lands were purchased from their joint savings with Sarah making 80% contribution. As business bloomed, they invested in more properties and used the names of their unborn children. John was in custody of all documents related to properties. 10 years down the line John passed away in an accident, they still were with no child. At the fin
