WHY DOES A TYPICAL LOTTERY WINNER END UP BROKE WITHIN 3 YEARS AFTER EARNING HIS OR HER MILLIONS?


Wealth in financial terms is a CONCEPT that has to be grasped. They lost such money because they did not understand the concept of wealth.

True to many of the responses I received Wealth is not the same thing as money.

Wealth is not measured by this size of income, financial wealth is measured in TIME.

If I stop working today and all I have to my name in savings is N100,000 and my living expenses is at N1,000 a day then my financial wealth is equals 100 days.

Wealth is measured by the richness of your life experience today plus the number of days into the future that you have the capacity to continue living at that level of experience.

As you work today, develop a wealth building mind set. Don’t eat your tomorrow today. Create a vehicle that can sustain you in days to come.

THE 7.30PM FLIGHT I was at a conference that ended on a Friday, the excitement of new prospects and friends made me to loose track of time. Lo and behold it was 6.45pm, my luggage I had to pick from my hotel before heading to the airport.  My guide was by my side to show me the way, the venue of the event was unfamiliar terrain.  He was a gentle young man, ever soft spoken and kind he had the full itinerary for my entire stay.  I was overly distracted with exchange of cards I didn’t know where and when my guide had passed. I got other guides to show me the way but they all had their own arrays to display How confused I got as the time was short, ‘who will show me the way’ I cried within A new friend promised to take me but she got carried away waiting along the way to make her hair; ‘don’t worry’ she quipped ‘you still have some Time, the airport is just some miles away’. Sarah an enterprising woman and her small business catered majorly for the home, John worked as a contract staff with a Microfinance bank.
