MY LOVE STORY

Image
My Love story .... ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ Friday was a day to remember for life, Mrs Ojo famously known as Mama Sade opened her restaurant known as ‘buka’ at their time located in the bubbly Marina area of Lagos state Nigeria and declared free drinks for everyone who came to eat that day.  . The excitement in the air was electric and contagious. All passerby were beaming with smiles from ear to ear. Chinedu, the handsome fair complexion primary school teacher will always drop by Mama Sade shop for a meal after work and also has his eye on Sade the pretty dark skin 19 year old daughter of Mrs Ojo.  .  The transmitter radio in Mama Sade’s shop was a rallying point for customers to listen to the news from the Nigeria Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) and that Memorable Friday was different as there were more guests to eat and enjoy Mama Sade’s free drinks. . Chinedu came with his friend Musa a new teacher in same school to enjoy the free drinks of the day, but Chinedu had more on his mind that day.

MY TANGLED EAR PIECE CABLE

Image
My tangled EAR PIECE cable  I dropped my phone ear piece in my bag as usual, and wonder why each time I need to use it I have to detangle the cable almost every time. Picking up an important call this morning and I couldn’t hold the phone for the anticipated length of the call so as usual reached out to my dear ear piece and found it tangled, the detangling process is strong enough to spoil the cable but na iPhone ‘follow come’ so I respect myself and undo the tangles gently  till it was free. I know many ladies may be able to relate to this (Big bags with all manner of cables  😆  etc) chai! Now back to my story I settled down for a few seconds, thought how do I avoid having this repeat occurrence suddenly I got ideas on how to keep my ear piece cable neat and tidy after each use. Many of us have similar situations that occur in our daily walk and business life but until you take time to explore and fix it you will repeat the process spending time and energy on something that c

POWER OF BYE BYE

Image
The power of ‘BYE BYE’ An expression used when parting or leaving I have said many byes in my lifetime- ‘bye bye to friends after school’ in anticipation of seeing the next term after the holidays. A time however comes when some ‘bye byes’ need to be final. . The baby chick of a chicken will remain in the shell and decay for life until she is set to say bye to the ‘COMFORT’ of the shell. The beautiful butterfly we admire and love today had to say bye to the MEDIOCRE caterpillar state else would have died an ordinary uncelebrated caterpillar. Where is the drift of my rant you may ask? A time comes in every ones life when we must say our final ‘byes’ to things, attitudes, beliefs, mindsets, behaviors, associations and persons, to embrace the NEW which was the original design of the Creator. Sweet heart only you can break you from your shell...i can only show you how, I can’t do it for you because if I attempt it you will emerge deformed at best. Go and ask from the baby chick. On

WASTE YOUR MIND AT YOUR PERIL

WASTE YOUR MIND AT YOUR PERIL.  . I learn every single day, learning is my passion. There is so much our minds are designed to absorb if we allow it.  My just concluded trip has so many new things added to me. It took me two days to get the pronunciation for MUARAKOZE which means THANK YOU in Kinyawanda language of the Rwandese. That is stored for life now in my database. The smile that beams from the faces of the cab man or the lady at the till when I say MUARAKOZE is priceless to me and my brand, @Foshizi_Tours. From my trip to South Africa, to USA, to Jerusalem (Israel) to Nairobi (Kenya) and now, Kigali (Rwanda), one fact is supreme: language has a unifying power which I experienced on this trip. What language(s) have you picked words from this year? Let’s exchange new words... Who goes first?
