The power of ‘BYE BYE’



An expression used when parting or leaving

I have said many byes in my lifetime- ‘bye bye to friends after school’ in anticipation of seeing the next term after the holidays. A time however comes when some ‘bye byes’ need to be final.
.
The baby chick of a chicken will remain in the shell and decay for life until she is set to say bye to the ‘COMFORT’ of the shell.

The beautiful butterfly we admire and love today had to say bye to the MEDIOCRE caterpillar state else would have died an ordinary uncelebrated caterpillar.

Where is the drift of my rant you may ask?

A time comes in every ones life when we must say our final ‘byes’ to things, attitudes, beliefs, mindsets, behaviors, associations and persons, to embrace the NEW which was the original design of the Creator.

Sweet heart only you can break you from your shell...i can only show you how, I can’t do it for you because if I attempt it you will emerge deformed at best. Go and ask from the baby chick.

On 1st of May 2018 Foshizi Tours I made a hard decision to say my byes to the old way of running business to embrace a new Foshizi tours. I am not yet where I want Foshizi Tours to be but we are certainly far from where we were.

My personal journey on the ‘bye’ movement is not over, many more ‘final-byes’ to go.

Don’t die as an un-celebrated caterpillar, let the butterfly in you emerge

NEVER be comfortable with less than you are capable of becoming, whatever it takes

ROOM 305 I watched with amazement as the girls kept coming to the hotel one after the other   and each time they asked to see a guest in Room 305. He had laid out the appointments such that there was never a clash. Each young lady felt special to be identified with the guest in Room 305 leaving the room with smiles obviously with loads of cash to flaunt. I put on my investigative google and lay in wait quietly to know the runs of room 305. I never got to see who was logged in that room all through my stay. THE 7.30PM FLIGHT

THE 7.30PM FLIGHT I was at a conference that ended on a Friday, the excitement of new prospects and friends made me to loose track of time. Lo and behold it was 6.45pm, my luggage I had to pick from my hotel before heading to the airport.  My guide was by my side to show me the way, the venue of the event was unfamiliar terrain.  He was a gentle young man, ever soft spoken and kind he had the full itinerary for my entire stay.  I was overly distracted with exchange of cards I didn’t know where and when my guide had passed. I got other guides to show me the way but they all had their own arrays to display How confused I got as the time was short, ‘who will show me the way’ I cried within A new friend promised to take me but she got carried away waiting along the way to make her hair; ‘don’t worry’ she quipped ‘you still have some Time, the airport is just some miles away’.
